A Christmas Cantata - Winter Solstice is written by Rob Vuono is written in honor of the Songbird Live Music Venue. This piece is composed for a 26 piece orchestra. It utilizes many original tunes, as well as familiar Christmas melodies, all set in fresh new arrangments.

About the event
Rob Vuono composed Winter Solstice as a Christmas celebration in tribute to the Songbird Live Music Venue and his longtime friend Tom Burkett. This 80-minute orchestral piece includes a blend of original compositions and many well-known songs, all presented in fresh new arrangements. The 26-member orchestra is conducted by Dr. John Korak, who is also a longtime friend and musical associate of Burkett.
This work combines familiar Christmas songs with unique, unheard settings.
